The Orkney International Science Festival wrapped up this week, with EU-funded projects MaxBlade and FORWARD-2030 being showcased in two energetic events.
EMEC hosted ‘Tech on the Tarmac’, highlighting MaxBlade tidal blade innovations and the acoustic survey work underway through FORWARD‑2030.
The team also joined the Festival’s Family Day, speaking with young people about green career paths and challenging them to see how much power they could generate on a pedal bike.
