Project partners
MAXBlade has assembled a knowledgeable, relevant, and dedicated consortium of eight partners from five countries.
Orbital Marine Power (UK)
The world’s most advanced floating tidal stream technology developer
Innovative Scottish engineering company Orbital Marine Power is helping turn the tide on climate change by commercialising their ground-breaking tidal energy technology that captures renewable energy from the power of the earth’s naturally occurring tidal stream resources. The company’s O2, the world’s most powerful and advanced tidal turbine, is a 2MW+ product capable of providing utility-scale, clean energy whilst supporting a just transition through the creation of sustainable, quality jobs throughout the project lifecycle. It can generate enough clean, predictable electricity to meet the demand of around 2,000 UK homes and offset approximately 2,200 tonnes of CO2 production per year.
